TRAINING/ REHABILITATION

This is an important part of your recovery programme that is tailored from our treatment sessions. We appreciate that it can be scary, some lack the confidence and motivation, feeling of no time, feel uncomfortable in a gym or don’t have the facility at home

Where?

GYM

Our Therapist Sam is a member of Halo Leisure Centre Ross-on-Wye/Hereford and PureGym Hereford, so if you have a membership here, you can have help during your rehabilitation or strength training routines.

CLINIC

On our clinic site, based between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford, we have free weights including barbells/ kettlebells/ dumbbells, Lifting Power Cage/ Rack, Bench, Plyometric boxes and a Concept 2 Rowing Machine for your cardiovascular needs and Hurdles for all your hip mobility needs too.

These sessions are for

Those who are under our care and have already commenced treatment with us

Have been injured and want to reduce likelihood of re-injury

Want to improve and supplement their Sporting Performance

Struggling with the concept of ‘the gym’

Prefer to be under supervision and expert guidance to get stronger

How?

Eligibility includes receiving a screening assessment with our Graduate Sports Therapist so we can tailor to your needs creating a bespoke (p)rehabilitation/ Strength and Conditioning programme

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO AT HOME BETWEEN TREATMENTS?

Developmental stretching aids recovery from Sports Massage and helps maintain the Sport's Therapists work

Frequency: 3 times per day, 3 weeks minimum

Intensity: mild to discomfort NOT pain

Duration: 20-30 seconds

Repetition: 3 stretches per muscle group
